Python detectors can offer you a number of different services, whether you are looking for an upgrade or replacement battery for your detector, need a custom antenna designed, specialist cables or other requirements we would be happy to hear from you.


 Python Upgrade Service: 

For our existing UK customers that have already purchased any of our existing Python Detectors, we can offer you a complete upgrade service where we will upgrade your existing Python Detector to a higher version. Please see the following table on the different upgrade path for your detector.  

 Upgrade Service Only Available in the U.K.

We currently ONLY offer an Upgrade Service within the United Kingdom (UK) countries comprising of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We DO NOT offer a Upgrade Service for International Customers.

 
 

 Python P1 to P2 Upgrade:

Here are 12 reasons why you should upgrade your Python 3825/P1 Detector to a Python 3825/P2 Detector:

1. Standard Antenna detection increased from 475 m to 600 m
2. Supports the use of the optional Power Booster Module 
3. Sensitivity can be adjusted to Level 1 to 5
4. Supports sensitivity Level 6 (with optional Power Booster Module)
5. Optional Power Booster Module (increases sensitivity by 25%)

3. The Python P2/IB detector sensitivity is MORE sensitive and has greater detection range than our standard Python P2 detector and optional Booster.
4. Sensitivity CAN be adjusted in all levels while in Booster Mode
5. Integrated Power Booster is always ON (active)
6. The Integrated Power Booster allows the Expansion Port to be available for future accessories and new features.

5. The audio alert has 4 Repeat modes.
6. Advanced tuning that allows you to further tune the detectors sensitivity within your vehicle.
7. Factory Reset feature.

 Upgrade Process:

To order your upgrade just follow these simple steps:

1.  Select one of the above upgrade packages
2.  You will be taken to our store.
3.  Add the selected upgrade items to your basket.
4.  View your basket and check you have selected the correct upgrade package for your existing detector.
5.  Make any adjustments and when you are happy to proceed click on the checkout button.
6.  You will then be taken to the secure PayPal site to enter your payment details.
7.  After completing the PayPal payment you will receive an email confirmation from PayPal.
8.  You will also see an order confirmation from our website.
9.  Our sales department will contact you by email within 24 hours and provide you the shipping address to send your existing detector back to us.
10. You will be responsible to ensure that you ship your detector to us by an insured and tracked delivery method. Python Technologies Limited will not be held responsible for any lost or undelivered items.
11. Your detector will be upgraded as listed above.
12. We will shipped back your upgraded detector to you within 10 working days by a tracked delivery method.


 Battery Replacement and Recycling Service: 

After a period of time you may find that you need charge the internal battery more frequently and the time that the battery holds its charge become less. Lithium-Polymer rechargeable batteries can normally be recharged between 300 to 500 cycles before they need to be completely replaced.

If your internal battery does not power the detector after you have recharged it and is not covered by your 12 month limited warranty you may wish to use our battery replacement service.

 Custom Antennas Design & Manufacturing Service: 

At Python Detectors we can offer a design, manufacture and test service for RF Antennas of many different types operating at many different frequencies, some of the most popular: 400/800/900/1800/1900 MHz.

Typical Antennas connectors can be FME, Mini-UHF, TNC, SMA, SMB available in both solder and crimp termination types can be designed on your antenna.
